Top Sirloin Steak – Mexican Style

Ingredients

4 top sirloin steaks
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup chunky salsa
2 tablespoons ground cumin
2 tablespoons garlic salt
1 cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped
1 cup Mexican cheese blend
1 avocado, peeled and sliced

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. In a medium mixing bowl combine olive oil, salsa, cumin, garlic salt, and cilantro.
3. Place steaks in a shallow baking dish. Pour mixture over steaks.
4. Place in oven for 15-20 minutes or until they reach desired doneness.
5. Remove from oven and top with cheese and avocado. Serve once cheese is melted.

6. Serve with Mexican rice and/or re-fried beans.

    15 to 20 minute was not long enough, I would say 30 minutes for medium rare
